In grassroots racing, the temptation to buy speed is constant. We see a faster competitor with a giant wing or high-end coilovers and assume that the part is the missing link to our own podium finish. However, the most successful amateur racers are usually those who spend their budget on seat time and maintenance rather than a never-ending list of bolt-on modifications.

1. Identify the Specific Mechanical Limitation
